Schedule 34 of the Better Tomorrow for Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2011, (BTOA) included amendments to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999 (OLGCA) to enhance transparency and clarity and to align with a comprehensive risk-based regulatory framework under the Gaming Control Act, 1992 (GCA). To complement the OLGCA statutory changes, amendments to the OLGCA regulations were required. These include: ­- Amendments to Regulations 198/00 and 199/00 (via Regulations 85/12 and 86/12 respectively) and revocation of Regulation 15/02 and 200/00 (via Regulations 82/12 and 83/12 respectively) are consequential to changes in the OLGCA made under the BTOA.
