Cw Stoneking Download. This is the second I5500 I have owned. The first died after two years of fine service. That's just 28 years less than the warranty the mfr (myweigh) offers, except that they are totally unresponsive to any inquires on the warranty. This second I5500 lasted just five minutes, and then the LCD screen ceased to work, and then just fades out.

Torrent Download Horoscope Explorer on this page. I've been searching for an accurate and inexpensive scale that can weigh over 2 kilos. Everything I found in my searches were very expensive, cheapest was $2,000. I needed something that can measure in troy ounces for weighing precious metals. Then I found this site and this scale, it was perfect for what I was looking for. The two most important things was it goes up to 5500 grams and it reads in troy ounces plus the price was right.

I've had this scale for a couple of weeks and so far I have no complaints and everything has worked flawlessly. I found my A&D Newton EJ-4100 to be such an excellent scale that I decided to buy another. While looking for it I came across this one, for $155 less, so I did some research on it. The downloaded user manual wasn't very helpful, so I used the OWK help to find out if the default weight unit was programmable. I was told: 'It is not possible to set the default units on the i5500.

The scale starts in Grams. The order is as follows: grams, ounces, pounds, troy ounces, pennyweight, carat then grains.' Since my weighing use has the protocol of starting weighing in grams, then changing to and finishing in ounces, this seemed perfect for me. Unfortunately it turns out that the default unit is actually reset to whatever it was when the scale was turned off. Hence, I have to cycle through 7 options to get back to grams every time I turn it on. Annoying, but perhaps worth saving $185.

But I've also found that there is a huge (several seconds) lag in registering the scale's reading. Hence it is not practical to monitor the weight readout as one pours more onto the scale, stopping when the target weight is approached. Instead I have to stop well before my target, wait several seconds to allow the readout to catch up, resume adding more slowly, stop again, wait, resume, hope I don't overshoot. Very annoying. I'm no longer convinced it was worth the money saved to get this scale instead of my favorite, the EJ-4100 (which has neither of the problems I've mentioned).

But if the characteristics of its function don't bother you, the scale is very accurate, has a larger capacity than the EJ-4100, and costs just a little over half as much--a definite bargain.
